Celebrations Marking the Museum’s 90th Anniversary
The Tadeusz Kościuszko Museum celebrated its 90th anniversary. The jubilee was commemorated on 26 September in the presence of numerous guests from Switzerland and abroad.
The guests were warmly welcomed by Mathias Stricker, President of the Kościuszko Society and member of the Cantonal Government, as well as by Stefanie Ingold, Mayor of Solothurn.
It was a moving celebration filled with memorable moments, honouring the extraordinary legacy of Tadeusz Kościuszko while also highlighting the close and longstanding ties between Poland and Switzerland.
We were honoured to welcome numerous distinguished guests, including representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Bern and the U.S. Embassy, a representative of the United States Military Academy at West Point, members of a Polish-Swiss parliamentary group, as well as representatives of the City and Canton. Members of the Polish-Swiss Institute for Culture and Art, the Kościuszko Foundation, the Kościuszko Mound, and numerous other organisations also joined us for this special occasion.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who celebrated this important anniversary with us and helped make it an unforgettable occasion.
