Visit of the Polish Undersecretary of State to the Kościuszko Museum

At the end of August, the Kościuszko Museum in Solothurn welcomed Maciej Bosacki, Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland, who visited the museum during his stay in Switzerland.

The guest was welcomed by Mathias Stricker, President of the Kościuszko Society and Member of the Cantonal Parliament. Following a tour of the exhibition, Museum Director Teresa Ackermann guided the Undersecretary through the museum and presented the most important memorabilia and exhibits connected with the life, work and legacy of Tadeusz Kościuszko.

The visit provided an opportunity for a personal exchange on the museum’s special significance in the history of Poland and Switzerland, as well as on the preservation and care of important historical sites.
